College students in WT’s Engler College of Small business give back again to local community

CANYON — The time of giving is upon us and, with the help of the United Way of Amarillo & Canyon, students in the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Enterprise are giving back again to the local community for the vacations.

With $10,000 in seed revenue, students have been capable to donate to four nearby organizations:

• Family members Assistance Services Crises Services – $4,000

• 2-1-1 Texas Panhandle Helpline of the United Way of Amarillo & Canyon – $2,000

• Buckner FYI Center – $2,000

• Coalition of Health and fitness Companies-Nurse Loved ones Partnerships – $2,000

This new initiative is designed all around generating a pupil-centered procedure for providing with the United Way by instructing college students how to make philanthropic conclusions that impact their community.
