Dec. 17 (UPI) — GM Defense announced Thursday that it has begun renovation of an current Common Motors setting up to assistance generation of the Infantry Squad Auto, an all-terrain troop carrier developed to transport a nine-soldier infantry squad.
The 750,000-square-foot facility is located in Harmony, N.C.
Development at the facility is probably to proceed into early spring, with the creation line offering cars in April.

The 5,000-pound ISV is based on the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 midsize truck architecture and works by using 90 per cent industrial-off-the-shelf sections, but is engineered to satisfy armed forces requirements and intended to present rapid ground mobility.
