Vodafone terminates talks to market 55% stake in Egypt small business

Vodafone has ended negotiations with the Saudi Telecom Corporation (STC) more than strategies to promote a 55% stake in its Vodafone Egypt business enterprise for about 2.4 billion US pounds (£1.81 billion).

The London-based telecoms huge first declared it had entered into detailed negotiations with the Saudi business enterprise at the stop of January this calendar year.

But in a limited statement to the inventory current market on Monday, the company claimed talks “have been terminated”.

No rationale was specified.
