Vodafone terminates talks to offer 55% stake in Egypt business

Vodafone has finished negotiations with the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) around ideas to sell a 55% stake in its Vodafone Egypt business for all-around 2.4 billion US pounds (£1.81 billion).

The London-based telecoms huge initial introduced it had entered into in-depth negotiations with the Saudi enterprise at the conclusion of January this 12 months.

The Memorandum of Understanding concerning STC, the kingdom’s largest telecom operator, and Vodafone, which was signed in January, expired in April but was subsequently prolonged to July and then September.
