Smaller Enterprise Saturday, Nov. 28, kicks off the holiday year in Georgetown, and Georgetown is extending its Store Modest Georgetown promotion in conjunction with Modest Enterprise Saturday as a result of Dec. 12.

Participating organizations will be providing unique promotions, presents with buys, raffles, curbside decide-up and far more.

Georgetown has one particular of the premier concentrations of nearby, independently owned businesses in the District.

“We have hundreds of organizations in Georgetown, and about 60% of them are modest corporations. Smaller businesses have normally been the coronary heart of our group. This year, more than at any time, we are knowing how essential it is to aid them when we can,” Lauren Boston, with the Georgetown Small business Improvement District, advised WTOP.

Georgetown’s yearly Holiday Window Opposition, which lets customers, alongside with a panel of Georgetown judges, decide on the finest storefront holiday decorations, will also consist of streateries that have popped up this year, the further outside eating places carved out of avenue parking spaces.
