Dec. 28 (UPI) — Australia’s F-35A fighter planes reached their Preliminary Operational Capacity score, the country’s defense department announced on Monday.

The ranking, following two yrs of testing, will make the Lockheed Martin-designed planes fully deployable in functions.

“The Australian Defense Drive now has an F-35A squadron all set to conduct technologically superior strike and air overcome roles, and a different squadron devoted to offering environment-course instruction here in Australia,” Defense Secretary Linda Reynolds stated in a assertion.
