Shreveport’s initially Main Financial Officer is resigning

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Metropolis of Shreveport’s first Chief Money Officer has turned in her letter of resignation.

Metropolis officials confirmed that Sherricka Fields Jones is leaving her CFO position afterwards this month.

Back in March Jones’ appointment was permitted by the Shreveport Town Council with a six to one vote. She was named Shreveport’s Chief Administrative Officer by Mayor Adrian Perkins at the commencing of his time period.

Mayor Perkins said, “After just about 9 a long time of devoted provider to the Metropolis of Shreveport, Sherricka Fields Jones will be relocating on to new and fascinating opportunities at the end of the thirty day period.
